Netflix Begins Streaming House of Cards in 4K Ultra HD
Netflix has begun streaming House of Cards Season 2 in 4K Ultra HD. The Ultra High Definition stream is available only to those with an Ultra HDTV featuring a built-in Netflix app and native HEVC (H.265) decoding capabilities.
Samsung to Ship 10-Bit 4K Ultra HD Monitor This April for $700
This is no April Fools joke, you did in-fact read the title correctly. Samsung will be shipping their 28-inch 10-bit 4K Ultra HD monitor this month for $700 (UD590). Previously, you had to spend well over $1,000 to own a 10-bit 4K monitor.
Samsung Ultra HDTV’s Arrive This Month
Samsung has officially announced availability for their 2014 Ultra HDTV lineup at a press conference held in the Guggenheim Museum in New York City (What is Ultra HD?). The company will offer something for everyone, including both curved and flat versions of their Ultra HDTV’s and Full HDTV’s in a variety of screen sizes.
