Acer revealed its 6-inch Liquid S2 Android smartphone at IFA 2013 in Berlin. The phone features 4K Ultra HD recording capability, Full HD display, and a Snapdragon 800 processor.
Acer is claiming to be the first to offer the 4K recording feature, though Samsung’s new Galaxy Note has this function already. The phone also features a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front camera. The camera software allows you to snap pictures from the lock screen, and additionally allows manual focus and exposure functionality.
The phone features higher-end hardware than Acer traditionally offers. The Snapdragon 800 at 2.2 GHz, 2GB of RAM, extended 3,300 mAh battery, and LTE antenna make this phone a solid competitor in the smartphone big league. The phone will be sold in Europe, and will be released at the end of October 2013.
