LG to sell 4K Ultra HDTV to the U.S. next month for $19,999

LG has announced that it will release it’s 84-inch 4K Ultra HDTV (3,840px x 2,160px) this month near Korea. They have also confirmed that US shipments will occur during the CEDIA 2012 event, with an MSRP of $19,999. The 84LM9600 unit will include passive glasses for Cinema 3D technology, as well as WiDi, a dual-core L9 processor, Smart TV, and 2.2 channel speakers. Currently, there is not a large selection of 4K Ultra HDTV content available to the public.
